Club Rules
1. Name and address
Sigi’s Tennis Club, Canbury Gardens, Lower Ham Road, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey.
2. Status
The club is a proprietors club affiliated with the Lawn Tennis Association and British Tennis.
3. Membership
The membership of the club shall consist of:
Full members
Mid week members (Monday to Friday)
Family membership
Tennis school and ( current racketeers) membership
Ex racketeer (student) members
Honorary members
3a. Subscriptions
In April all members will be notified of the coming annual subscription which is due on the 1st May every year. If the subscription has not been received by this date members may be charged court fees until this deposit has been made. This condition may be overlooked only in exceptional circumstances.
4. Booking courts
Courts need to be booked in advance one week in advance only
Cancellations under 24 hours notice may incur a court fee charge for the amount of time booked.
All members will need to sign in and out of the visitors book which will be kept on the bar in the clubhouse. This is compulsory for everyone
5. Private lessens
Client books the court and informs the coach
6. Guests
A £5.00 guest fee will incur for all visitors of the club. The guest will then be entitled to the club facilities for that day. This condition is limited to three sessions of the year. Once visitors have used up their 3 sessions they must upgrade to become a member.
7. Clothing
Predominantly white should be worn. (except track suits. Proper tennis shoes must be worn.
8. Alcohol
People are at leisure to consume alcohol purchased on the premises. Sigi’s tennis club advises all members to drink responsibly and holds the right to refuse serving alcohol under the discretion of the management.
9. Food
Only food bought on the premises to be eaten unless given permission by the management.
10. OPENING TIMES
Sigi’s tennis club reserves the right to close the premises giving prior notice on All Public Holidays if the courts are not booked in advance
11. Parking
If cars are parked in the car park and the owner/member is not playing tennis then the owner/member must go into the club house and tell a member of staff
